Every second Wednesday of the month...
Sometimes it might be six people, sometimes a few more....
at the Black Horse in Lewes, from 8 to 11pm,
we play American old-time music, the traditional
stringband music especially of the southern
Appalachian mountains. We've been going since 2003 but somehow it's different every time depending on who's there and what we feel like playing...
Come and join regulars Michi & Mo & Colin & Dan
& Karen & Sue & Andy.... with fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin... and we love to have some singing too. Some of us have played for quite a few years, some are new to our instruments or to this kind of music; we're all still learning (it turns out this never ends!) and everyone is welcome.
